Why does color contacts always irritate my eyes now and then?

It’s like constantly burning & itching at the same time…..
i took them out and now there in the eye solution …
it’s just my left eye it doesn’t have any itching or burning right now it’s like there’s still something on my eye like when a contact gets stuck on your eyelid it just has that feeling i don’t know why.
it’s like really red.. i dripped a few allergy-eye relief eye drops & dry eye relief eye drops

Colored contacts are generally more uncomfortable than any other type of contacts – it’s just the way it is. It’s sort of like cellophane on the eye. Your best bet is to wear clear contacts the majority of the time for overall comfort and to help you see, then wear the colored contacts just for special occasions.
