What is the difference between prescription nasal allergy sprays?
I’ve seen various prescription nasal allergy sprays over the years, such as Flonase, Aquacort, Nasonex, Nasocort, etc. My young daughter was prescribed Nasonex. I had Nasocort at home and asked the doctor if she could use that instead, but he said no, definitely only use Nasonex (which she is). Do all the sprays do the same thing? What’s the difference in the relief they give? Thanks!

I don’t know.. but there is a difference.
I got prescribed Nasonex by the doctor and it didn’t do anything for me.
So my parents work with pharmaceuticals and they get all kinds of stuff from them so I’ve basically tried every nasal spray there is!
I’d say Flonase and NasacortAQ did the trick for me.
I’m currently using NasacortAQ.
So I guess they just work differently on everyone.
My doctor prescribed me Astelin which doesn’t really help me.
So I decided to try Sudafed for congestion and It works in literally seconds!
