My eyes are so dry they crack and peel. I dont mean dry and itchy eyeballs like form allergies.I mean the skin surrounding my eyes burn and hurt and peel… I moved to alaska recently and it’s extremely dry here.I am from the Tennessee and used to extreme humidity. My eyes are so dry they hurt/burn almost all the time. The rest of the skin on my face is not dry however, it is still somewhat oily. I have used 3 different facial moiturizers. babyoil, vaseline, jergens ultra healing lotion, Aveeno moisturizers, A couple avon products….nothing has worked. I am currently using bio-oil which is the most relief i can get but i cannot wear makeup with this product and have to reapply it throughout the day. My eyes stay swollen and brown/black. I am 20 years old and whatever is wrong with my eyes is making age fast. Can somebody please help me???

The last time I itched this bad was when I encountered raid or coffee grinds because I’m allegic to both. With raid I itched all over. With coffee grinds I only itched where it touched my skin. I treated both with allegy medicine and was fine. I’ve been eating the same foods, washing with same detergent. The only thing new I’ve encountered is aveeno (stess relief) body wash and lotion. It has lavender, chamomile, and yiang yiang in it. Ive used other aveeno products such as eczema care body wash and lotion and was fine. Also I noticed the itch right after I took claritin allergy medicine due to itchy nose. I don’t know what causing the itch.

I have been itching and scratching like crazy for 3 days now and it appeared to happen overnight . I cannot tell what it came from, only thing I can think of is it happened a day or 2 after I went swimming in my complex pool and I also had a colpo that day.

does anyone know of any excellent anti itch creams, lotions, soaps etc that REALLY WORKS. I have hives, skin irritation, and I scratch until I bleed. I have tried benedryl allergy, calamine lotion, and wet jet hydrocortisol cream and nothing is really working. money is not an option for desperate relief, Please help!!!!

My daughter (age 2 1/2) has an allergy to something. We’ve been to the pediatritian, dermatologist, and allergy specialist. They all say it’s an allergy, but none of their explanations pan out when I check them against reputable medical web sites.

Her skin is VERY dry all over. The insides of her elbows look like they have been rumbbed with sandpaper. Her wrists look like she has been wrestling with rose bushes. She is constantly scratching them making them bleed. Cetaphil lotion, aquaphor ointment, vasoline, prescription creams all burn her skin and make it hurt more and make the irritation worse. Have you or anyone you know dealt with something like this? Are there food allergies that can cause this? I’m ready to take her to a homeopathic doctor, since we can’t get any relief from medical doctors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a 2 year old German Shepard . She is on frontline , but she scratches and itches and bites herself constantly. Her hair is falling out , ( I am guessing from scratching so much) her skin is very dry and scaley, and she has a horrible odor to her. Not a regular dog odor, I mean aweful odor coming from her skin.We have invested in about 10 differant itch relief, moisturising, and odor shampoo’s. None worked. We took her to the vet, they tested her skin and said she had mange, in the next breath, they said she didn’t, but sent us home with more shampoo and capsules, and said if that didn’t work to bring her in and they would do an allergy test for $800. Well the shampoo’s and capsules didn’t work either. Any other suggestions on what this could be and is $800 a little much for an allergy test?

I have tried everything over the counter, change to products with no dyes or purfumes, allergy pills, even tried lice stuff to make sure it wasn’t a parasite. Anything they have at the drug store I tried. I get a small itchy rash bump that looks like a heat rash only it is on different parts of my body. it itches night and day. cort10 does not slow it down, I need some relief. The Dr said to go to a dermatoligst, I have no insurance. Has anyone experienced this and found relief?
