For months now my skin itches, how do I stop it?

I have tried everything over the counter, change to products with no dyes or purfumes, allergy pills, even tried lice stuff to make sure it wasn’t a parasite. Anything they have at the drug store I tried. I get a small itchy rash bump that looks like a heat rash only it is on different parts of my body. it itches night and day. cort10 does not slow it down, I need some relief. The Dr said to go to a dermatoligst, I have no insurance. Has anyone experienced this and found relief?

Could heat be a cause ones skin being itchy?

I have noticed my skin being itchy since about March.

During the winter, my joints ache, so I take hot showers and use a heated blanket at night to help with the aches and pain. I noticed in March, the skin on my legs started itching when I had the electric blanket on me. Stopped using it, but still was a little itchy. Was real itchy after a hot shower, so I started turning it down to warm and I wasn’t as itchy.

Since the summer has started, I am real itchy, especially on my legs. Sometimes my arms or belly itch but it seems more concentrated on my legs and parts of my feet. I have scratched til I have bled. I have tried lotions and creams from the cheap kind to the expensive kind, yet only get temporary relief. I have tried Coritzone cream, temporary relief. I have tried Itch-X which has benzocaine in it or something. Again, Temporary relief.

Dead Sea Skin Care

In the Bible, the Dead Sea is known as the “Eastern Sea” or the “Sea of the Arava”. The ancient Greeks and Romans called it “Mare Asphaltitus”, meaning the “Clay Sea”, due to the patches of clay, or asphalt floating on its surface. Later on, since life in this body of water was deemed impossible, it was dubbed the “Dead Sea”, and this term was adopted by various European languages. Mosaics from the Byzantine era depict fish swimming toward the Dead Sea from the Jordan River and rushing to turn back and flee toward the north, to the fresh water sources.

The Dead Sea region offers a rare combination of nature sites, history and unique healing centers, each of which has the potential to inspire autonomous tourism development. The Dead Sea, at approximately 417 meters below sea level, is the lowest point on the surface of the earth. It is a remnant of the ancient “Lake Lisan”, the body of water which once extended from the north of the Sea of Galilee to Hazeva in the Arava.

Eczema Skin Care Tips

After receiving numerous queries regarding eczema, I am now dedicating a page to Eczema. Please take the following notes as in the spirit it is intended. I am not a Qualified Dermatologist or Doctor. I can only speak from my own personal Eczema experience. If you have not yet consulted with your own Doctor about a skin condition that is currently affecting you, I would strongly advise that you seek his or her advice before trying other avenues. For example, your skin condition/eczema may be a symptom of some other underlying condition. Over the years my tolerance to my skin sensitivities has decreased considerably, which in turn has led to extreme aggressive bouts of eczema. But, within the last year I have found that by being disciplined and following the below steps has helped me to cope with my very dry skin/Eczema condition. A big thank you to my husband, Nick, who helped me with words of encouragement and support – and also for helping me to program this wonderful site, whereby hopefully, other like-minded individuals will find relief in the beautiful products we support.

My boxer dog started getting hemangiomas and histiocytomas (growths on the skin due to allergies) when he was three. His skin condition has gotten worse since then -he’s now nearly 5. I feed him a no-grain food (Orijin), give him extra fish oil each day, and bathe him once a week with Oatmeal shampoo. (all recommendations from my vet). He stopped itching when he was given prednisone and Tameril P -but after a while on steroids, my laid back pooch started getting more easily agitated (aggressive) around other dogs -so we took him off of that. Now he’s developed folliculitis on top of everything else. I just want to find relief for my dog. Does anyone have experience in this area or have some advice? Thanks!

Dog (lab Mix) skin allergies and relief ?

I adopted a 8-10 weeks old Lab(mix) dog in March and fed her PetsMart Authority Chicken puppy food. 6 weeks ago she stopped eating that food (may be because of teething) and she was constantly steeling beneful food from my buddy’s dogs. So i started feeding her Beneful puppy food which she seemed to like. 3 weeks after she started shedding heavily and started itching crazily also i started noticing lot of yeast in her ears. I switched her food to Natural Balance LID Lamb and 6 weeks in to it her 95% of her itching went away. Now she has some/lot hairless spots on her body and ears.
