I have had headaches for 5-8 years= migraines and sinus headaches, severe sinus pressure, post nasal drip, horrible allergies, continual ear infections/ear aches, some dizziness, and feeling like I’m in a surreal/dreamlike setting, along with most recently some nausea and diarrhea and even vomiting on occasion.
I had a CT scan and i have a cyst and something else the dr. didn’t go into. I see an ENT in a little over a week.
I have been put on a rigorous antibiotic schedule as well as a nasal steroid and allergy/decongestant combo (with little relief, except allergies are better) The current headache has been present for a good solid week if not more.
Wondering what treatments people have done for this and what i should be expecting.

Do you have sinus and/or allergy issues?

I was raised in NJ. I used to get sinus/allergy headaches every Spring and Fall. In Florida, I rarely had them. Here in Wisconsin, I’m getting them each Spring and Fall. Nothing over the counter is helping, and neither is anything the doctor had me try. It gives temporary relief sometimes, but not this time. Day 4 now. I figured there is something that grows in the northern US that doesn’t grow in the south. Do any of you go through this as well?

Sinus Infection Relief

Most cases of sinusitis resolve themselves on their own. Some sufferers consider natural cures to relieve their symptoms. There are a lot of these remedies readily available around the house to relieve you of your symptoms. Inhaling steam in the shower or over a sink filled with hot water, or running hot water along your face especially the nose area are some of these quick fixes to help clear out your nasal passages.

Sudafed Sinus and Allergy with a cold?

I’m pretty sure my nose is stuffed up because a cold but the sinus and allergy box claims relief for everything I’m expriencing. Do you think it’ll help even though it’s not Sudafed Sinus and Cold?
Some people take too much stuff in general, including myself, and I do blame the Pharma Industry. But in the end I can only blame myself… anyways…

So if Sudafed is for stuffiness, though it’s not a cold then the Sinus and Allergy is ok though it’s not Cold and Allergies?

TERRIBLE sinus infection, how can i find relief?

I have an aweful sinus infection. I went to the doctors yesterday and got put on an anit biotic. Today is day 2.

The main problem is the headach due to all the pressure. Its TERRIBLE. I have to study for finals which are next week and I can hardly read the pages of my text book without feeling unexplainable amounts of pain in my eyes and head.

I have tried so many over the counter meds (forgive my spelling, musinex, sudafed – 3 different types of sudafed – regular, sinus headach, and ‘sinus and allergy’, tylenol allergy…) none of the over the counter meds are working.

Sinus Pain Relief

Sinus Pain Relief

Let me guess: You’re researching sinus pain relief because you or someone in your family has been besieged by sinus headaches. I am Mark Hawyes, and I have become an expert on sinus problems. I suffered for years from this universal condition, but I learned a way to beat it. I can help you beat it, too.

We have several sinus cavities in several areas of the body, but most often when we are talking about sinuses we are discussing those in the head. We have four pairs of sinuses that, when negatively affected, contribute to headache. The frontal sinuses are behind the prominent bones of the forehead. They are centered above your nose. The ethmoid sinuses are just about where our glasses pinch the nose. You will find the maxillary sinuses residing behind the cheekbones, and the sphenoid sinuses are below our temples. There are passages that connect the eyes and ears to the rear of the throat, with the openings for the other sinuses. The sinuses fill with mucus in order to perform their work. The mucus helps them to stop dirt and foreign objects before they reach our inner organs. Mucus also helps to moisten and heat the air in our sinuses passages. They also provide an air cushion to protect the head, and they give us the individual qualities of our voices.

I have had sinus infection problems and allergy problems for the past two years, and nothing can seem to stop them from coming back and my head is never fully cleared. My ears have been popping for that long too. I’ve been on antibiotics from time to time throughout the infections, but they don’t help. I’ve used Neil med sinus relief bottle, which clears it up some, but doesn’t fully stop. I talked to a pharmacist recently and I am taking Ceteri-D, which helps some, but doesn’t stop the infection. My head has been stuffed up for that long along with the ears popping, and I’ve had trouble hearing because of it. The doctors have helped the best they could, but the pharmacist says I might need to see an allergy specialist. What can the allergy specialist do to fully stop my infection, so my ears will not pop, and I can have a clear head forever? I’ve been to an ears, nose, and throat doctor too because I’ve had ear wax build up problems, but I don’t think that’s why my ears have been popping. Any advice on treatment methods for this continuous infection will be helpful, or what procedures can an allergy specialist do? Thanks in advance.
I remember the infection started a couple years back right before new years. I take medicine to relieve the symptoms, but nothing stops the infection fully. I just don’t want to be on medications for the rest of my life because I have lost some musical ability being stuffy like this.
