Sinus infection and allergy problems will never go away, please help?

Question by Me1984: Sinus infection and allergy problems will never go away, please help?
I have had sinus infection problems and allergy problems for the past two years, and nothing can seem to stop them from coming back and my head is never fully cleared. My ears have been popping for that long too. I’ve been on antibiotics from time to time throughout the infections, but they don’t help. I’ve used Neil med sinus relief bottle, which clears it up some, but doesn’t fully stop. I talked to a pharmacist recently and I am taking Ceteri-D, which helps some, but doesn’t stop the infection. My head has been stuffed up for that long along with the ears popping, and I’ve had trouble hearing because of it. The doctors have helped the best they could, but the pharmacist says I might need to see an allergy specialist. What can the allergy specialist do to fully stop my infection, so my ears will not pop, and I can have a clear head forever? I’ve been to an ears, nose, and throat doctor too because I’ve had ear wax build up problems, but I don’t think that’s why my ears have been popping. Any advice on treatment methods for this continuous infection will be helpful, or what procedures can an allergy specialist do? Thanks in advance.
I remember the infection started a couple years back right before new years. I take medicine to relieve the symptoms, but nothing stops the infection fully. I just don’t want to be on medications for the rest of my life because I have lost some musical ability being stuffy like this.

My 3 year old female Morkie has been scratching and biting herself for the past 2 and a half years. I have seriously tried everything. I have taken her to the vet countless times – she even has a dermatologist. She has been on special diets to eliminate food allergies. She has been on shots for almost a year and a half now. She’s been on Atopica and other steroids countless times… even the medicated shampoos such as ChlorhexiDerm isn’t working! We are giving Skin Eze tablets to her twice a day, but I’m still not seeing any improvement. Due to this diet that she’s on (cooked duck mixed with duck and potato kibbles) she is LOSING weight and is becoming too thin. I just don’t know what else to do for her about her scratching. Does anybody know what to do? I just want to give her some relief and see her without a shirt for once.

P.S. – I have had her checked many times for fleas, mites, etc. They found nothing of the sort on her.

I have two 4 year old yorkies (Bijou and BonJovi) :] They both have watery eyes constantly, and are prone to try and paw at them, or rub their faces on random things (their bedding, chair/table legs, peoples pant legs, etc) to try and stop them from itching, but of course, this just makes the problem worse. The vet gave us some sort of ointment to put in their eyes, but it’s clearly labeled as an antibiotic, and I don’t think it’s an infection, because even after we used the ointment for its prescribed course, the watery-ness still comes back. I’m thinking they might have allergies? They have the hair trimmed away from their eyes and faces, we bathe them once a week and we wash their bedding/pillows constantly, and they are still itchy! Any suggestions on how to bring them both some relief?

I’m a 27 year old female.I have been sick for several weeks now. it started with my eyes itching and a little sneezing about 2 weeks ago. I attributed that to seasonal allergies as there is a lot of pollen where I live.

So for a week and a half, I had sneezing and itchy eyes with occasional slight congestion. I dealt with it by taking benadryl. I did not really get better but I didn’t get worse either.

VETS & TECHS please HELP? My dog has elevated WBC.?

My lhasa (vets says 6 yrs old; rescued him 4 yrs ago) had bloodwork & showed slightly elevated WBC. All else ok per vet. Hes usually active & playful, but sometimes suspect he doesn’t feel well. Have blamed that on allergies; sneezes a lot & nose runs of clear water. Old allergy test showed some + to grasses. Never cough or fever. On 5mg zyrtec qd for allergy relief. Has VERY bulgey eyes that run constantly; perhaps contributing to nose drip.
Has occassional limp up front. Vet says prob arthritis given poor conformation. He’s on cosequin & Carprofen 12.5 mg qd. Vet does anal glands every 6 wks. He’s well groomed & clean. Skin and coat healthy but skin often pink in color.

Ears healthy. Potty normal (some mucousy stools). Food & water intake normal. Teeth & gums healthy. Neg for hot spots & dry eye. Excercise daily. Canidae food.

I live in a basement apt. and I have 3 cats. My nephew lives upstairs and he has bad cat dander allergies. We have an air purifier on the furnace but it does not really help. I am now thinking of getting one for his personal use in his bedroom. Does anyone know if this will help? I don’t want to have to get rid of my cats, which is what they are asking me to do.Help.

eye redness problem, please help?

In the last month or so I have noticed that the tiny blood vessels in my eyes seem to be more noticeable, more so in my right eye. The whites of my eyes seem tinged with red. I am getting about 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. It feels as though there is something in my right eye that is irritating it, but I don’t see anything. Sometimes I have a little bit sticky sleep in my eyes, but even after I get that out, my eyes seem red as though irritated. I bought some Visine dry relief, but an hour or so later my right eye still feels irritated and red.

Any ideas what it could be or what is triggering this feeling? I don’t have any allergies at all, but I suppose it is possible to develop one, but I doubt that. I wonder if I need to sleep more or something. What over-the-counter products could I try that might work better in restoring the natural healthy white look to my eyes?

my kitty :( please please help me?

i just got a kitty and it looks like he has a cold. he has been sneezing and his right eye is reddish and has gooey stuff around it. ive been cleaning it but i think its just the change in weather and he got sick and he will be ok. if it got worse i was gonna take him to the vet but my boyfriend decided to take it in his own hands. he gave him eye drops of an eye allergy relief. it contains naphazoline, hydrocloride, and pheniramine maleate. will the cat be ok or should i take him to the vet asap??
thank you all so much for your answers!!
