In the last month or so I have noticed that the tiny blood vessels in my eyes seem to be more noticeable, more so in my right eye. The whites of my eyes seem tinged with red. I am getting about 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. It feels as though there is something in my right eye that is irritating it, but I don’t see anything. Sometimes I have a little bit sticky sleep in my eyes, but even after I get that out, my eyes seem red as though irritated. I bought some Visine dry relief, but an hour or so later my right eye still feels irritated and red.
Any ideas what it could be or what is triggering this feeling? I don’t have any allergies at all, but I suppose it is possible to develop one, but I doubt that. I wonder if I need to sleep more or something. What over-the-counter products could I try that might work better in restoring the natural healthy white look to my eyes?
i went to bed feeling good and then i woke up with my eyes stuck together. so i went to the bathroom and put water to clean them up and when i finally could open my eyes they were red and swollen…my eyes were stuck my this green stuff and its also sticky. i’ve been like that since Friday and its monday already..please help me my eyes hurt and are swollen. i went to wal-mart to buy eye drop thingy and i bough visine-A eye allergy relief eye drops, once i put tht in a few mins. later my eyes burn when i blink. so once again please help me cause i don’t know what to do. also just for information i have a sheltie dog. since my cousins slept over for three days he’s been inside cuz they like him. but he’s an outside dog. they came tuesday and left thursday. he’s outside once again

My eyes have been itching like crazy the past couple day, i put clear eyes itchy eye relief drops in and it seems to make it bearable but doesn’t provide enough relief. My throat has also been hurting and my nose is snuffly. I take zirtec for allergies but lately it hasn’t been working. What should i do? I can’t take benadryll on a regular basis because it makes me too sleepy.

This is from a combination of chlorien ( i swim with my eyes open ) and allergies. I have already taken my regular allergy medication and taken redness relief eye drops at least twice. Anything else i can do to get red of red eyes?

My Vet. won’t be able to fit in till next week. Wanted something to make them feel some better, and not so miserable till then. So any suggestions would help, since I know there is an non prescription that can get. Like the HomeoPet Nose Relief, which is used to reduce these symptoms and conditions. Just where can I get these types of non prescriptions that are specifically used for Cats with these problems?
