I feel like I’ve tried everything: decongestant, antihistamine, expectorant, steroid nasal spray, a neti pot. I am not getting any relief. The sinus is but the chest congestion has just been the past week. Not sure if I have a cold on top of allergies or what. My doctor always tells me the same thing but it doesn’t seem to help.
Not 2 B fooled- yes, but you know HMOs. I’m just looking for ideas.

I suffer from really bad allergies. Now I have a cold on top of that. My sinuses are really messed up, to the point of being swollen. I have tried over the counter mucus relief tablets but they are not doing much. I think I’m bordering on the lines of an infection! HELP!
Maybe I should have said over the counter solutions.

My mom developed a runny nose and nasal congestion in Dallas yesterday and took sudafed pe 3 times today. Every time she takes it she gets spacey and tired. What else could give her relief without this side effect?

I just came down today with either super terrible allergies or a cold or sinus infection.
Symptoms:
* TERRIBLE nasal congestion
* Low off and on again fever
* Sinus Headaches
* (sorry, TMI) Really off colored, runny nasal mucus
* Sorta achey
* Symptoms lessen during the day and are horrible at night and in the morning.
* I have canker sores if that means anything.
* There’s an outbreak of a lot of sicknesses in my school.. EVERYONE seems to be sick.
* Lethargic
* Hungry and thirsty a lot.. but when I get a hold of food or water it isn’t very appetizing.
* And a new symptom.. a little tickle in my throat. Not all the time, but it’s there.

Any suggestions how to lessen symptoms? Any idea of what I have? And if it’s a cold.. how to make it not as contagious? I play basketball and I don’t want to get the whole team sick… :/

When I chew Dentyne ice, I find it is able to provide temporary nasal congestive relief especially during spring time when allergy season starts. Why is this?
