my boyfriends nose is always blocked,any cures?

he has tried lots of nasel sprays and allergy pills ,but they only give him short term relief,he does have an allergy to dust mites and has asthma,but his GP cant seem to help him any further.Does anyone have remedies?

Get a Neti Pot. Give up Dairy and Wheat. He probably has an allergy to one or both. Could be a deviated septum too.
get him to take a hot shower and let the water run over his head. the steam will clear up some of the blockage. in stores, they sell tablets of menthol i think that you drop into the shower and the scent opens up your nose. for bedtime try some eucalyptus oil on a facecloth and put it on his pillow. sleep with the windows closed, get a humidifier for the winter to make the air less stuffy. just some suggestions,

Give him Benadryl every night. I always helps me because Benadryl is the strongest allergy medicine out there, that includes priscriptions. Also clean the house from top to bottem. And make sure he blows his nose all the time. Also i heard that eating honey for breakfast helps a lot too.
As he already knows he’s allergic like I am n I myself had tried hell lot of sprays n medicines..
Firstly my earlier doctors gave up to! But later I found this doctor and – I don’t know what its called – I think allergy shots may be – I was given that like 10 injections – 2 every alternate days for 5 days……. I was 18 yrs that time n I had hell lot to suffer ‘cuz of my allergy n sinus. But after these shots I have been relieved till now I am 26 now…. I do get allergies but now they are very slight n tolerable…….
Secondly now my doc suggested me this apart from regular anti allergics n it really worked for me – I use a few drops of oil (any oil that suits you like coconut, almond, i use almond oil) a day into my nostrils, so that the allergen doesn’t come in direct contact with my nose membrane thus prevently any allergic reaction…..
