For years now I have had all of the symptoms associated with nasal allergies, like runny nose, watery itchy eyes, stuffy head, etc. I have had both the skin patch and the blood tests and both were negative for all allergies. I have been on Allegra, Claritin, Kenalog, pills, sprays, you name it, with absolutely no relief of symptoms. If it isn’t allergies, what could it be?

I adopted a 8-10 weeks old Lab(mix) dog in March and fed her PetsMart Authority Chicken puppy food. 6 weeks ago she stopped eating that food (may be because of teething) and she was constantly steeling beneful food from my buddy’s dogs. So i started feeding her Beneful puppy food which she seemed to like. 3 weeks after she started shedding heavily and started itching crazily also i started noticing lot of yeast in her ears. I switched her food to Natural Balance LID Lamb and 6 weeks in to it her 95% of her itching went away. Now she has some/lot hairless spots on her body and ears.

My son has allergies and the doc is reconmending an air purifier.Do they work, would you reconmend getting one? Not sure what I am looking for when it comes to features on them and don’t know what brands are good. Also I have heard about people installing some sort of purifier on their furnace. How much does this cost and does it work? Looking for any thoughts or advise. thanks
