People are always looking for the best products for their money. The reliability of the company as well as how well its product works are often major considerations when trying to decide which brand and model to select. It is no different in the world of air purifiers. People expect quality and standards to be upheld, which is exactly what the Friedrich air purifiers strive to do. Friedrich holds high standards in keeping the air in your home clean and fresh.
Many people think that air purifiers such as the Friedrich air purifiers are only for those who smoke. This is not true. Many consumers who are non-smokers purchase air purifiers. The purpose of air purifiers reaches far beyond just removing cigarette smoke from the air. Air purifiers are the perfect solution for removing pet dander, pollen, dust and so much more from the air in your home. People who suffer from allergies are able to breathe more easily knowing they have an air purifier that works to reduce the number of allergens in the air in their home.

When medications fail to adequately control allergy symptoms and avoidance of the trigger is not easy or possible, an allergist may recommend immunotherapy or “allergy shots”. This treatment consists of a series of injections containing small amounts of the substances to which a person is allergic. After a course of allergy shots, 80 to 90 percent of patients have less allergy symptoms, and in many cases their allergies have completely resolved. Allergy shots can be given for allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (nose and eyes), allergic asthma and insect sting allergies.
Are allergy shots experimental therapies?

I’m looking for relief from my horrible allergies. I say horrible, but they’re probably not any worse than any of Oklahoma resident. I just recently moved here, and I sick of being sick with congestion ALL the time!!! I’ve tried all the over-the-counter crap – none of it works! Does anyone know of any natural remedies that really work?

Been at my job for 5 years. Very stressful disaster relief type of job with bosses that curse and throw things at me. Recently, doc told me to possibly leave my job. Since here, I was developed Hypertension, generalized anxiety disorder, gained almost 100 lbs (now weigh 270), high cholesterol, allergy problems (We bring in items to our shop that have mold and smoke on them from disasters), and more…. Litterally – the doc. said my job is killing me. But it supports me and my wife, pays the mortgage, the cars, for my school, etc.. I cant just quit and I have been looking for a new job for awhile with no luck… what can I do if anything?

I bought some NatraBio homeopathic sinus relief tablets at the health food store. I have trouble sleeping because of sinus congestion and was getting nervous about taking sinus and allergy meds every night long-term. (I’ve had this problem off and on for the last 10 years. It started again this time when I resumed menstruation after nursing.) Anyway, after I got home and looked at the box, I got nervous about taking something with the word “arsenic” in it. Does arsenicum have anything to do with arsenic?? It says on the box it is gentle enough for children, but I guess I have trust issues.

Allergies in general are defined as hypersensitivity to some foreign particle or the other. Different people have different kinds of tolerances for foreign bodies. When some people cannot adjust with certain elements in their surroundings, they may suffer from certain skin problems that are commonly referred to as skin allergies.
Skin allergies in dogs will show several symptoms, and some of them may surprise an owner as they are not nearly as obvious as others. The most common and best known of these symptoms will start with your dog scratching as well as licking themselves. Both are common in all dogs, but when allergies are present it will in most cases become extreme. However, they can also cause your dog to chew or bite their skin, feet, or ears as they are trying to get rid of the itching.

My six year old is truly suffering now that it is allergy season, his eyes are swollen shut each morning and they are red watery and painful. We had this same problem last season and really never reached a solution. The pediatrician recommended an over the counter eye drop which did not work. In addition, we have a prescribed one named patanol. We use Zyrtec and benadryl and neither really provides relief. We also use cold towels and an ice pack. Does anyone have solutions. I am at my wits end, and I ready to ban him from outside play. HELP…. we are both miserable.

I’m 17. (not sure if that matters) and I have terrible allergies ever since I moved up to the Sacramento Area (El dorado county to be specific), I used to live on the coast and never had these problems. But I just sneezed literally 11 times and now my head hurts, my eyes are watery and my nose runs constantley, it is also stuffed up. It has cost me three nights of sleep from not being able to breathe, and the running and sneezing is unbearable. I would take medicines in a heartbeat but I am EXTREMLEY allergic to Benadryl so much that is almost killed me. So I am very paranoid about taking any allergy pills, any natural relief from this crap?
